^UMass Lowell offers suite style and apartment style housing options for Graduate students ONLY. Placement is based on a first come/first serve basis. For any Graduate student living in suite style accommodations, a meal plan MUST be purchased. For any Graduate student living in apartment style accommodations, a meal plan does NOT have to be purchased.

Additional costs
There may be additional costs to students, such as textbooks and seasonal clothing, which will vary according to individual student requirements.
Health insurance
In accordance with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Qualifying Student Health Insurance Program (QSHIP), all international students must purchase health insurance through UMass Lowell.
