It allows the opportunity for interaction and discussion with the students. All students find something in the curriculum with which they can relate

Chemistry (undergrad), Introduction to Research (graduate)

What do you like most about the subject?

Chemistry in general is very interesting, but what I like most is showing students how science work through chemistry, and how the subject influences our lives

How would you describe your teaching style?

I don’t just have one teaching style. I use a repertoire of teaching styles depending on what topic in chemistry I teach, and the students’ understanding of what I teach

Mostly in London, UK. Also at UMass Lowell in Massachusetts, USA.

What do you like most about the subject?

Investing is important to most people and if I can offer some pragmatic guidelines and tools that will help make someone a better investor it will be very rewarding.

How would you describe your teaching style?

Pragmatic and real-time. I do not require a text. It simply costs too much and I can have my students stay more up-to-date by supplementing the lecture notes with timely articles.
